Post-Procedure Instructions
Aftercare varies by treatment. Select your treatment below to check the instructions.
Laser (Lifting)
- Moisturize your skin with hydrating creams, mask packs, etc. to prevent dryness.
- Make sure to wear sunscreen as well.
- Avoid peels, exfoliation, strenuous exercise, or saunas for 2 weeks after your procedure.
- Refrain from smoking and drinking alcohol for a week after your procedure.
- Depending on the procedure, you may need to avoid washing your face and applying makeup for 1-3 days after the procedure.
- If you experience significant heat or warmth, applying a cold pack wrapped in a towel for 5 minutes can help alleviate discomfort.
- Redness, warmth, swelling, itching, rashes, flaking, or uneven texture may occur, but most symptoms typically subside within 1 to 4 weeks. Rarely, persistent numbness, pain, or discomfort may occur, but these usually resolve within 1 to 2 months.
- If you have pain, heat, or other discomfort that is too severe, seek medical attention quickly.
- The results are usually felt immediately after the procedure, but it takes 1-2 months for the collagen to regenerate.
Laser (Whitening / Pigmentation)
- Depending on your procedure, you may need to avoid washing your face and applying makeup for 1-3 days after treatment.
- Make sure to apply plenty of moisturizer and take extra care to prevent your skin from drying out.
- Limit outdoor activities and apply sunscreen frequently. UV exposure causes pigmentation and recurrence.
- Avoid activities that irritate your skin for 1 week, such as strenuous exercise, saunas, dry saunas, lymphatic massage, alcohol, and smoking.
- If you experience significant heat or warmth, applying a cold pack wrapped in a towel for 5 minutes can help alleviate discomfort.
- Scabs should be allowed to fall off on their own; intentional removal can lead to pigmentation or inflammation.
- Do not scratch or touch the skin even if it feels uncomfortable, and seek medical attention quickly if symptoms are severe.
- Depending on your skin condition, you may experience redness, heat, dryness, pain, and other symptoms after the procedure, but most will resolve within a week.
- Depending on the procedure, you may experience some scabbing or bruising, but most recover within 2-3 weeks.
- Your pigmentation may temporarily appear more intense, but this is mostly due to melanin pigment breaking down and being released.
- You may occasionally develop a pimple or rash, but these are usually temporary and resolve with proper care.
Laser (Pores / Scars)
- Marks, redness, and soreness can usually last 1-2 weeks after the procedure.
- Never peel off dead skin or scabs with your hands; let them fall off naturally.
- Please avoid washing your face on the day of the procedure. You can wash your face from the next day, but avoid washing too vigorously for one week after the procedure.
- Avoid saunas, dry saunas, swimming pools, alcohol, and smoking for 1 week after your procedure.
- Avoid sun exposure and make sure to wear sunscreen when you go outside.
- Proper moisturizing is also important.
Laser (Hair Removal)
- Long hair increases the risk of burns, so please shave thoroughly the day before your procedure.
- Avoid plucking with tweezers, waxing, or tanning during the treatment period.
- We recommend 5 treatments spaced 4-6 weeks apart, as hair removal may be less effective with longer intervals between treatments.
- Apply sunscreen to exposed areas frequently; UV rays cause pigmentation and recurrence.
- Make sure to apply plenty of moisturizer and take extra care to prevent your skin from drying out.
- For 1 week, avoid activities that irritate your skin, such as strenuous exercise, saunas, dry saunas, lymphatic massage, alcohol, and smoking.
- If you experience significant heat or warmth, applying a cold pack wrapped in a towel for 5 minutes can help alleviate discomfort.
Botox
- Results are seen in 1-2 weeks for facial wrinkle areas, and 3-4 weeks for chin, body, and back muscles.
- You may experience mild bruising, pain, and swelling at the injection site, but this usually resolves within 1-2 weeks.
- Refrain from rubbing or irritating the treatment area for 1-2 days. You can wash your face, shower, and apply makeup the day of the procedure — however, for SkinBotox, please avoid washing your face or applying makeup too harshly on the same day.
- As Botox takes effect, you may experience temporary loss of strength in the treated area; we do not recommend treating occupationally important areas.
- As muscles in untreated areas develop, the result may look uneven. If this happens, we recommend re-injecting Botox into that area.
- To make the effect last longer, it is recommended to reduce muscle use in the treated area.
- In rare cases, you may experience drooping at the corners of your mouth or heaviness of movement after masseter (jaw) Botox.
- After Botox for the forehead, brow, or crow's feet, you may occasionally experience raised eyebrows, a heavy forehead, or drooping eyelids. Most of these resolve naturally, though recovery time varies. To help prevent this, avoid rubbing the treated area or lying down immediately after treatment.
Skin Booster / Skinvive / Radiesse
- Lumps, redness, and pain at the injection site may last 2-3 days after the procedure.
- Bruising or swelling may last 1-2 weeks after the procedure.
- Depending on the procedure, you may need to avoid washing your face and applying makeup for 1-2 days after treatment.
- Make sure to apply plenty of moisturizer and take extra care to prevent your skin from drying out.
- Limit outdoor activities and wear sunscreen frequently — UV exposure causes pigmentation and recurrence.
- Avoid activities that irritate your skin for 1 week, such as strenuous exercise, saunas, dry saunas, lymphatic massage, alcohol, and smoking.
- Do not scratch or touch the skin even if uncomfortable, as this can cause pigmentation.
- If you have severe pain, heat, or other discomfort, seek medical attention quickly.
- Depending on your skin condition, you may experience swelling, bumpiness, pain, heat, or bruising, which varies by individual. Generally swelling, bumpiness, pain, and heat resolve in 2-3 days, and bruising in 1-2 weeks.
Collagen Volume Booster
- Be sure to perform the "5-5-5" massage after treatment (massage the treated area for 5 minutes, 5 times a day, for 5 days).
- You can wash your face and apply makeup on the day of your procedure.
- Avoid strenuous exercise and saunas for 2-3 days, and alcohol and smoking for 1 week.
- If prescribed medication after your procedure, please take it as directed.
- If you experience severe discomfort, do not rub or scratch the area — please visit us as soon as possible.
- Depending on your skin condition, you may experience swelling, pain, heat, or bruising, which varies by individual. Typically swelling, pain, and heat resolve in 3-7 days, and bruising in 2 weeks.
- If the product settles unevenly, excess tissue response in the area may cause a lumpy feeling. Performing the post-procedure massage as instructed helps prevent this.
Thread Lifting
- Avoid alcohol, smoking, heavy exercise, saunas, dry saunas, and other activities that irritate the treatment area for 2 weeks.
- Avoid overactivity and take any prescribed medications, such as antibiotics or anti-inflammatory painkillers, as instructed.
- Apply a cold compress (an ice pack wrapped in a towel) for 5 minutes at a time, frequently, for 48 hours after the procedure, then switch to warm compresses for the following 4 days to help with discomfort.
- Avoid tough or hard foods for 2-3 days, and avoid yawning or opening your mouth wide for 4 weeks. You may resume facial pressure treatments, such as lymphatic massage, after 3 months.
- In very rare cases, you may experience persistent severe pain and heat, or blistering and discoloration of the skin. If so, please contact us and visit without delay for appropriate treatment.
- Depending on your skin condition, you may experience swelling, pain, heat, bruising, bumpiness, and other non-specific symptoms, which usually resolve naturally within 1-2 weeks, though this varies by individual.
- Right after the procedure, the left and right facial lines may look different, but once swelling subsides they usually return to natural symmetry.
Acne Aftercare (Extraction / Anti-inflammatory Injections)
- If a large amount of extraction was performed, avoid harsh cleansing or skin irritation on the same day.
- Acne scarring may be unavoidable in cases of severe inflammation.
- After an anti-inflammatory injection, the skin may temporarily appear slightly sunken, but this usually resolves on its own.
Mole Removal
- Keep applying a hydrocolloid dressing (such as Duoderm) until the treated area is free of fluid discharge (about 2 weeks). Replace it at appropriate intervals if it becomes soiled or loses absorbency.
- Avoid direct contact with water on the treated area (cleanse your face with the dressing still on).
- After removing the dressing, be sure to apply sunscreen thoroughly and avoid UV exposure as much as possible.
- The treated spot may recur, and retreatment can be done 4-6 weeks after the initial procedure.
- Deeply rooted moles may require repeated treatments.
Fat Dissolving Injection (Face / Body)
- You can wash your face, shower, and apply makeup on the day of your procedure.
- Avoid heavy exercise and saunas for 2-3 days, and alcohol and smoking for 1 week.
- If prescribed medication after treatment, please take it as directed.
- If you experience severe discomfort, do not rub or scratch the area — please visit us as soon as possible. Severe swelling, itching, or heat in the treated area may indicate an allergic reaction.
- You may experience palpitations, hand tremors, nausea, vomiting, dizziness, headache, or other non-specific symptoms. Most resolve within 2-3 hours, though this varies by individual.
- Swelling, lumpiness, temporary indentation, pain, heat, and bruising may occur, with variation by individual. Generally swelling, lumpiness, and heat resolve in 2-3 days, and bruising in 1-2 weeks.
- Depending on the procedure, you may experience light bleeding similar to menstruation — this is a temporary effect of hormonal changes caused by the medication.
- Although very rare, if you experience severe swelling, dizziness, or difficulty breathing, please go to the nearest emergency room immediately.
Filler
- Swelling, pain, heat, and bruising may occur after the procedure, usually resolving within 1-2 weeks, though this varies.
- Final results should be judged after all swelling has resolved. Duration of results varies with individual facial movement and the rate of filler breakdown.
- You may wash your face and apply makeup on the day of your procedure. Avoid alcohol, hot saunas or compresses, and heavy exercise for one week to reduce the risk of inflammation.
- Please avoid pressing on or applying pressure to the treated area for at least 1-2 weeks, as it may change the shape. (e.g., nose: avoid wearing glasses; nasolabial folds: avoid excessive mouth movement; forehead & chin: avoid resting your head on your hand.)
- If prescribed medication to prevent inflammation, please take it as instructed. (Please let us know in advance of any medication allergies.)
- If you experience very severe swelling, pain, skin discoloration, blistering, or other severe discomfort, please contact us as soon as possible for appropriate treatment.
Peeling / Skin Care
- Depending on the procedure, you may need to avoid washing your face and applying makeup for 1-3 days after your procedure.
- Make sure to apply plenty of moisturizer and take extra care not to dry out your skin.
- Avoid being outdoors and apply sunscreen frequently, as UV rays cause pigmentation and recurrence.
- Avoid skin irritants such as heavy exercise, saunas, dry saunas, lymphatic massage, alcohol, and smoking for 1 week.
- If you experience significant heat or warmth, applying a cold pack wrapped in a towel for 5 minutes can help alleviate discomfort.

- Depending on your skin condition, you may experience redness, heat, dryness, pain, and other symptoms, most of which resolve within one week, though this varies by individual.
LDM
- There is no specific recovery period, and you can resume daily activities immediately — however, please pay extra attention to sunscreen and moisturizing.
- Rarely, you may experience redness, heat, rash, or other symptoms after the procedure. Most resolve within 2-4 days, though this varies.
- Be sure to moisturize well and avoid anything that may irritate your skin, such as saunas, dry saunas, deep massage, or heavy exercise.
Bella Choline
- Avoid strenuous exercise and saunas for 2-3 days, and refrain from alcohol and smoking for 1 week.
- Avoid taking anti-inflammatory or pain medications for about 2 weeks after the procedure.
- You may experience palpitations, hand tremors, nausea, vomiting, dizziness, headache, or other non-specific discomfort. These generally subside within 2-3 hours, though the duration may vary.
- Swelling, lumpiness, pain, heat, and bruising may occur, with individual variation. Typically swelling, lumpiness, and heat last 2-3 days, bruising lasts 1-2 weeks, and any lumps in the treated area usually disappear within 2-3 weeks.
- Although very rare, if you experience dizziness or difficulty breathing, please go to the nearest emergency room immediately.
Tattoo Removal Aftercare
- The treated area may experience scarring, redness, and pain, typically lasting 1-2 weeks after the procedure.

- Avoid saunas, steam rooms, swimming pools, alcohol, and smoking for 1 week after the procedure.

- Proper moisturizing is also important.
- If prescribed medication after the procedure, be sure to take it as directed.
