CO2 Laser

Pigmentation, Moles, Skin Tags & Hair Removal

What is Co2 laser?

The CO2 laser emits an infrared beam with a 10,600 nm wavelength that is highly absorbed by the water content in skin cells.

It effectively ablates protruding lesions such as moles, milia, flat warts, and seborrheic keratoses (CO2 mole removal), and is also used to treat enlarged pores and acne scars (CO2 fractional laser).

When will you see results? Is there any downtime?

After mole removal, please keep the DuoDERM dressing on for three days. Once you remove it, the treated area may remain slightly red instead of looking like a mole. This redness is usually not very noticeable, but it may take two to three months to fully fade. During this period, please apply a skin-repair cream and sunscreen regularly.

After fractional laser treatment, you may experience facial redness, dryness, and peeling for about one to two weeks, and occasionally for up to three weeks. If you have an important event coming up, such as a wedding, please make sure to consider the recovery period before scheduling your treatment. Applying a skin-repair cream and sunscreen regularly is also essential.

Dermia’s Laser Omakase is designed to address multiple concerns at the same time, including enlarged pores, acne scars, pigmentation, and facial redness.
Each session combines three different laser treatments, and the program consists of a total of 10 sessions.

At the doctor’s discretion, the treatment may also include additional procedures such as laser hair removal, regenerative injections, melasma injections, or anti-inflammatory injections, depending on the patient’s skin condition.
